Janice, I admire your blog a lot. A year ago my wife contracted breast cancer (she's fine now, a one year survivor) but it also marked the time we began to believe we were not invincible. Your content is helpful about looking forward. We are in our seventies. I have put your blog on a prominent area of my blog. Hopefully someone else will check it out also. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my blog; it really made my day.
I wish your wife many well days ahead. Cancer is an unwelcome guest, that is for sure. But so many have seen it regress and leave. Keep the faith and keep moving forward. My best wishes to her.
After living in Boston, Massachusetts for a quarter of a century; my husband, daughter and I packed it all up and moved to Park City, Utah, to start our life anew.
I have left my hospice nurse position in Boston, a job I adored. I am now stepping back and reflecting on all I have learned from so many wonderful people that I am honored to have cared for. Their deaths have taught me so much about life. I am forever grateful to them and their families.
